47583 County of Hertfordshire passes South Moreton on 20 May 1991 with the 1F46 17:37 Paddington to Didcot Network SouthEast service. This ten coach train was actually an all stations stopping service, a type of train that was normally operated by three car Class 117 DMUs at the time. Admittedly this was rush hour, but it still seems like over provision, especially as there were faster trains from London to Didcot around the same time. I wonder if it was ever full?
