47593 Galloway Princess passes Hinksey Yard on 9 January 2025 with the 5Z47 08:34 Crewe to Eastleigh Arlington Locomotive Services Ltd ECS. There was a moment of panic among the assembled photographers, as 802103 was approaching from the opposite direction with the 1W02 11:52 Paddington to Hereford GWR service. Hoping for the best, I fired off a short ten frame per second burst. This picture was within less than a second of being ruined, as two frames later the nose of IET was in the picture!
