47599 passes the site of Shrivenham station on 25 October 1985 with the 3A12 08:30 Carmarthen to Old Oak Common empty newspaper vans. After over two decades since the station was closed, the coping stones are still visible, but the rest of the platforms have succumbed to the grass and weeds.
