47606 Odin passes Stonesfield on 8 June 1984 with the 1A13 06:05 Hereford to Paddington InterCity service. This location, in the Evenlode Valley between Finstock and Combe, is only really useful for photography on sunny summer mornings. Surprisingly, it is still reasonably free of vegetation today, although of course Class 47s hauling comfortable Mk2 coaches have long since disappeared from the route!
