Engineering work in the Banbury area over the weekend of 18 & 19 April 1987 brought some welcome additional loco hauled trains to the Cotswold Line. 47610 just manages to catch a fleeting patch of sunshine, as it passes Chilson on Sunday 19 April 1987 with the diverted 1O34 07:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Portsmouth Harbour service. The Eastfield depot's West Highland Terrier logo on the bodyside is two years out of date, as the loco was allocated to Crewe in May 1985, and then Bescot a year later. |
