The Cotswold Hills had received a light dusting of snow on 11 January 1987, which adds interest to the scene as 47618 Fair Rosamund passes Chilson with the 1B16 09:40 Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill Network SouthEast service. Unfortunately this excellent viewpoint has long since gone. Nowadays there is a bush in the foreground that is so close to the line that it appears to have acquired the shape of the line's loading gauge. Have Network Rail not got any tree loppers? |
