47618 Fair Rosamund passes South Moreton on 6 August 1988 with the 1O11 08:05 Newcastle to Weymouth InterCity service, running ten minutes late, and not using the relief line, as booked. The mix of InterCity livered coaches along with the older blue and grey vehicles was very common at the time, with seemingly most trains containing both liveries. However, this train is noteworthy for also including a single Network SouthEast vehicle, and at the rear of the train, a Regional Railways coach!
