47624 passes Burngullow on 26 January 1991 with a parcels train bound for Penzance. The concrete towers in the background are just a small part of the large Blackpool Dries china clay works, which were still in use at the time this picture was taken. Neither of the cars on the left are still on the road, although it wouldn't have surprised me to find that the Volvo 240 was still around, such is their reputation for longevity.
