47625 Claydon (Gloucestershire) 1 July 1986

The solitary cow in the smallholding next to the railway at Claydon takes no notice as 47625 City of Truro passes by on 1 July 1986 with the 4M31 17:41 Swindon Cocklebury to Longbridge British Leyland car body panels. City of Truro was one of the early Western Region namings, shortly after the loco was delivered as D1660 in 1965. It then spent a decade as 47076, before becoming 47625 with ETS conversion in November 1984. However, the plates were removed four years later.
