47626 Atlas passes Basford Hall Junction on 3 July 1985 with the 1O92 13:52 Liverpool Lime Street to Portsmouth Harbour service. This was during the period when Crewe station was closed for major remodelling. Although this picture is spoiled by the multitude of wires, it does show the red flags across all of the running lines in the background.
