47628 Sir Daniel Gooch pulls away from Oxford station on 2 July 1985 with the 1F19 07:14 Oxford to Paddington service. Coincidentally, 47627 City of Oxford would follow it twenty minutes later. 47628 had been outshopped earlier in the year from Crewe, but with the wrong shade of green paint. By the time I saw it, it had gained the correct shade of GW150 green.
