On 22 April 1987, the very last weak rays of the setting sun highlight both 47631 with the 1B56 18:07 Paddington to Hereford 'Cathedrals Express', and also Bristol FLF Lodekka bus GRX 145 D, formerly belonging to Morris Brothers of Swansea. The location is Hanborough, and the bus which is parked in front of the former GWR weighbridge hut, is part of the nascent Oxford Bus Museum, which at the time had just taken over part of the former goods yard. Prior to its use in Wales, the bus was part of the Alder Valley fleet. |
