47647 Thor passes Didcot North Junction on 22 June 1989 with an Ascot race special, believed to be the 19:15 Ascot to Liverpool (confirmation anyone?). Unfortunately by the time this passed the sun had virtually disappeared, forcing the use of the very grainy Kodachrome 200. However, it was worth waiting as the maroon liveried Pullman Rail Mk1 set shows up well in the fading light.
