47652 passes Aller on 7 December 1988 with the 1E06 14:28 Plymouth to Newcastle parcels. The small corrugated iron hut just visible behind the loco somehow managed to survive when the adjacent Aller Junction Signal Box was demolished in June 1987. This view is no longer possible, as the farm occupation bridge from which it was taken was swept away with the realignment of the A380, and the construction of the Kingskerswell bypass.
