A slightly misty afternoon at Fiddington on 1 September 1987. 47654 Finsbury Park heads south with the 1V73 10:50 Glasgow Central to Plymouth service, which it had taken over at Birmingham New Street. On this occasion I actually drove to this spot, something which today would be totally impossible without some serious off road vehicle!
