47705 passes South Moreton on 18 August 1991 with the 1F07 12:45 Paddington to Oxford Network SouthEast service. This was running 40 minutes late, a delay which is fairly common now, but which was much more unusual in BR days. It has been pointed out to me that there is no brake vehicle in this train, and as there are only six coaches, it seems likely that the last minute removal of a coach may have caused the delay.
