It's a Thursday afternoon in 2009 and the sun is out, therefore it must be time to get a picture of the Colas steel empties! I wanted an identifiable location for my picture on 2 July 2009, and the nameboard on the right certainly fills that criteria. 47727 Rebecca & 47749 Demelza pass through Appleford station with the early running 6Z48 13:05 Burton upon Trent to Dollands Moor. A lucky shot, as the sun went in as the train was still passing me, and then a few seconds later a Voyager came from behind and blocked out the view!
