47727 Caisteal Dhun Eideann / Edinburgh Castle passes Uffington on 4 May 2023 with the 5Q66 10:09 Willesden to Long Marston ECS, conveying EMU 701018 for storage. This was running an hour late, which I thought would be ideal, as the sun would now be on the front at this location. The sun was out when I left home, but gradually got less as I drove towards Uffington, and had disappeared entirely by the time I had walked across the fields! This is a change of locos for these trains, all the previous ones having been worked by 47749 City of Truro.
