47727 Caisteal Dhun Eideann / Edinburgh Castle arrives at Long Marston on 24 August 2026, ready to collect the Class 350 EMU which can seen waiting in the background. Running as the 0V22 07:13 Leicester Loco Inspection Point to Long Marston light engine, the loco was able to enter the site without stopping, as the gates had been opened in advance. Previously when I have photographed these workings the loco has often been confronted by closed gates, and has had to wait for some considerable time for someone to come and open them!
