47749 City of Truro passes through Hailey Wood on 28 April 2023 with the 5Q66 10:09 Willesden to Long Marston ECS, conveying EMU 701052 for storage. This was my second attempt at this picture. The previous day I was just walking up to the bridge when it passed by, running half an hour early, so no picture. A real surprise, as it was on time when I checked a little earlier! On this second occasion the sun unexpectedly came out, which meant a change of position, a very head on shot being preferable to one taken from the shadow side.
