47781 Isle of Iona stands at Aber station on 18 March 2000, having just failed whilst working the 2D11 15:06 Cardiff Central to Rhymney service. The train had arrived at the station and then the loco promptly shut down. An hour went by while various rail workers investigated the problem, two of whom can be seen on the platform. Eventually it was decided to push the train to Ystrad Mynach, where it was terminated. As 47575 City of Hereford was on the rear of the train, I don't know why they didn't do this earlier!
