47806 approaches Tiverton Parkway on 11 August 1999 with the 1V50 08:40 Glasgow Central to Penzance Virgin CrossCountry service. The traffic on the M5 motorway in the background was at a total standstill because of an accident a little further to the north. This was not helped by the traffic being heavier than normal due to people returning from the West Country after witnessing the total solar eclipse. Luckily I managed to avoid this traffic jam by using local roads to get to the next junction.
