47807 passes Wetmore on 11 August 1990 with the Pathfinder Tours 06:45 Swindon to Newcastle-upon-Tyne 'Tyne Garden Festival Executive' railtour. Tour participants could either visit the National Garden Festival, or Beamish Open Air Museum. As this was one of Pathfinder's 'Executive' tours, aimed at the tourist rather than the rail enthusiast market, traction was a Class 47/8, which being still commonplace on normal trains, would not have been appreciated on an enthusiast tour!
