47810 passes Whitehall on 2 May 1994 with the 1M56 10:15 Plymouth to Manchester Piccadilly service. Not many cameras from the 1970s had a top shutter speed of 1/2000sec, but this feature came in useful for this broadside view, taken using my Canon F1.
