47812 Bletchingdon 2 August 1991

47812 passes the site of Bletchingdon station on 2 August 1991 with the 1V98 16:14 Liverpool Lime Street to Paddington service. In order to use the very necessary 1/1000sec shutter speed, the fading light required the lens to be wide open at f1.4, as at the time I was using Fujichrome RF50. The old Canon FD 50mm f1.4 was perfectly usable at f1.4, something that could not be said for the later EF version, even before it broke, which it inevitably did!
