Running 50 minutes late, 47813 approaches Ascott-under-Wychwood on 15 July 1990 with the 1O06 07:20 Manchester Piccadilly to Poole service. Inter-regional trains were diverted via the Cotswold Line on Sundays throughout the summer 1990 timetable, and although I took quite a few pictures, with hindsight I definitely should have taken more! This location has changed considerably since the 1990s, and a full grown wood now prevents any chance of replicating this view.
