47820 passes Langstone Rock on 31 May 1993 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z40 07:22 Oxford to Penzance railtour. This was one of Pathfinder's 'Executive' tours, aimed at the tourist market. At the time the Class 47/8 traction would have been exactly the same as a lot of InterCity trains, and therefore of little interest to the average railway enthusiast.
