Great Britain passes Badgeworth with the immaculate InterCity liveried Bounds Green set of Mk1 coaches, as it heads for Cheltenham on 17 March 1994 with the Paddington to Cheltenham Tote Credit Gold Cup special. Although I missed out on the era of Class 33s on these trains, in 1994 there were still several loco hauled specials on each day of the Gold Cup Festival.
