Following the King! Having brought the 08:40 Paddington to Cardiff Central 'Red Dragon' railtour from London on 30 January 1994, 47823 S.S. Great Britain was replaced at Didcot by GWR King Class 4-6-0 6024 King Edward I. The 47 then followed the train light engine. It is pictured here heading west at Circourt Bridge, Denchworth.
