The white roofed InterCity liveried rake of Mk1 coaches used on charters in the 1990s certainly did look smart, but they must have been a real pain to keep clean. 47833 passes through Wellingborough station on 13 June 1992 with the BR InterCity 09:00 St Pancras to Derby 'Chatsworth' luxury charter. From Derby, participants were taken by coach for a tour of Chatsworth House. The £70 fare included breakfast on the way out, and dinner on the way home in the evening.
