Although there was guaranteed sunshine, the strong wind threatened to cause problems with the exhaust blowing down, so I hoped this location, partly in the lee of Churchill Heath Wood, would give a bit of shelter. The result was even better than I had hoped for, and I've even caught the loco in the 'rods down' position, favourite by perfectionist steam photographers!
