50001 Dreadnought pulls away from Whitchurch station on 17 June 1989 with the 1O16 06:45 Exeter to Waterloo Network SouthEast service. This is one of the few pictures that I took on this line before 1991. With the imminent demise of the 50s, 1991 turned into a mad panic year, with virtually every spare day spent photographing them on the route to make up for lost time!
