50003 Temeraire could always be recognised from a distance in the early 1980s by its white window frames. It is seen here arriving at Kingham on 4 June 1983 with the 07:05 Hereford to Paddington service. This was the time before Kingham became a busy commuter station and well before the era of the full properly surfaced pay and display car park! Note the old bridge abutment in the background, which was an excellent spot for photography in the 1980s, prior to the rampant tree and bush growth of recent years.
