50003 Temeraire passes the site of Yarnton Junction, where the former Fairford branch line diverged from the Oxford to Worcester 'Cotswold Line'. The train is the 1B40 16:10 Paddington to Hereford on 29 June 1986. The loco carries the modified version of large logo livery, complete with black roof and red buffer beams, arguably the smartest and certainly the most practical version of this livery. The bank of rubble on the left is the site of the former station platform. |
