50007 Sir Edward Elgar cautiously approaches Britannia Crossing on 16 October 1993 with the 15:05 Paignton to Kingswear service, during the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway's Class 50 Event. A whole day of Class 50 action amid the spectacular Devon scenery, and all in full sun. Definitely worth the 350 mile round trip! I am particularly pleased with this picture, with the boats and swan in the foreground making an ideal composition.
