On the final day of Class 50 working on the Waterloo to Exeter line, 24 May 1992, 50007 Sir Edward Elgar & D400 speed through the abandoned Seaton Junction station with the 10:55 Waterloo to Exeter St Davids Network SouthEast service. Despite being closed in 1966, much of the railway infrastructure survives at Seaton Junction, including two convenient concrete footbridges, from one of which this photo was taken.
