As the lighting was going to be very backlit wherever I went on the Newhaven line for the Branch Line Society 1Z50 12:52 Newhaven Marine to Eastbourne 'Ore No More' railtour on 23 April 2022, I opted for an arty shot of 50007 Hercules at Tarring Neville, with a large clump of rushes in the foreground. This is the typical landscape of the lower reaches of the River Ouse.
