50008 Thunderer & 56303 pass Burton Salmon on 6 May 2017 with the 5Z50 10:30 York Holgate Sidings to Derby RTC ECS. This was a loaded test run for Thunderer, after the previous day's light engine test from Washwood Heath. The extremely mixed rake of coaching stock had been moved to York by 56303, which was included in this train for insurance purposes. It is over a quarter of a century since I last saw Thunderer on the mainline!
