In appalling light on 26 January 1991, 50008 Thunderer comes off the Drinnick Mill line at Burngullow Junction with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z16 'Cornish Centurion' railtour. The loco had been freshly painted into this unusual variation of Rail Blue (later to be dubbed 'Laira Blue') especially for this tour. Since this picture was taken this section of the Cornish mainline has been redoubled.
