Its hard to believe now, but there was once an almost completely unobstructed view of Frampton Mansell Viaduct from the nearby field. On 28 August 1982, 50008 Thunderer crosses the viaduct with the 1A89 08:24 Cheltenham to Paddington service. Unfortunately I have few pictures of Class 50s on this line, as I spent most of my time photographing them on the other route across the Cotswolds - the Oxford to Worcester line.
