50008 Thunderer arrives at Long Marston on 23 April 2018 with the 6X50 11:40 Toton to Long Marston, conveying Railvac 99 709 515 004-8. Class 50s are almost unknown on the Honeybourne to Long Marston line, despite them being the most common form of motive power on the nearby Cotswold Line in the 1980s. Therefore I was determined to get a picture of this train on the branch. Thunderer had previously visited the line a few months earlier, but so early in the morning that I had to photograph it further north at Stoke Prior.
