50008 Thunderer arrived at Long Marston on 18 September 2018 in weak sunshine, and departed 40 minutes later in miserably dull conditions, but predictably between the two there was a short period of brilliant sunshine. Therefore I couldn't resist taking this picture of the loco bathed in sunshine as it waits at the still closed gates, after arriving as the 0Z68 06:39 from Leicester. This picture gives a good overall view of the Long Marston site, showing the huge variety of stock that is stored there.
