Running 24 minutes early, 50008 Thunderer passes Queen Adelaide on 15 July 2023 with the Branch Line Society 1Z70 06:48 Derby to Lowestoft 'Merry Wherry' railtour. 50007 Hercules is bringing up the rear. I was surprised that there weren't more photographers here, as it shows the train on the single track line between Ely West and North Junctions, and had the sun been out, it would have perfect for the light. However, the sun wasn't out, and instead it was raining. Just a few seconds after the train had passed the rain turned into a monsoon, and I got soaked on the short walk back to the car!
