50008 Thunderer passes the site of Ashbury Crossing, Shrivenham, on 5 October 2019 with the 5Z39 12:36 Wembley to Bristol Barton Hill ECS. This was conveying six Chiltern Railways Mk3 coaches for modifications. As this left Wembley 39 minutes early, I also left home early, as on previous occasions (especially when an earlier similar train ran via Birmingham), the early running just increases, as the train misses out booked stops. Of course on this occasion that didn't happen, and after a very long wait on Ashbury footbridge, this passed me a mere three minutes early!
