Despite the fact that there is no load, I couldn't resist this picture of my favourite surviving Class 50, especially as the light was so good. 50008 Thunderer passes Uffington on 24 July 2019, running as the 0Z51 09:03 Bristol Barton Hill to Willesden light engine. This was running half an hour early, and I had only just arrived at the location, with just minutes to spare. The loco was doing a lot of running around on its own, as a little earlier it had worked the 0Z50 05:21 Willesden to Bristol Barton Hill, and the previous day, the 0Z50 13:05 Whitemoor Yard to Willesden.
