Running 95 minutes late, 50008 Thunderer passes Uffington on 7 December 2019 with the 5Z20 09:06 (10:41 actual) Bristol Barton Hill to Wembley ECS, conveying six refurbished Chiltern Railways Mk 3 coaches. If this had run at anywhere near the correct time it would have been in full sun, but by the time it appeared the light had collapsed completely. Luckily I hadn't wasted several hours at the lineside with nothing but Class 800s to photograph, as I only left home when it was actually reported as having left Bristol.
