Even allowing for the poor weather conditions, I was surprised I was the only person at this spot near Drumochter to witness 50031 Hood & 50049 Defiance pass with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z23 08:15 Inverness to Swindon 'Orcadian' railtour on 19 June 2006. Considering the location is a lay-by next to the A9, allowing chasing photographers to just stand next to their car to take the shot, I would have thought someone would be there!
