50031 Hood & 50049 Defiance accelerate away from Hellifield on 3 August 2002 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z50 06:10 Salisbury to Carlisle 'Settle & Carlisle Excursion' railtour. Although looking smart in rail blue livery, neither of these locomotives actually worked on BR in this condition, i.e. refurbished machines in all over blue. They would have course originally have been in blue pre-refurbishment (without headlight, etc), but following rebuilding they both emerged in large logo livery.
