50031 Hood is pictured near the quaintly named village of Ainderby Steeple on the little used Leeming Bar to Northallerton section of the Wensleydale Railway with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z28 14:20 Redmire to Cardiff Central 'Redmire Rambler' railtour on 25 March 2006. Note the vintage milepost and the poor state of the track (some sleepers had virtually rotted away).
