50031 Hood passes Didcot North Junction on 22 June 1989 with the 1F44 17:20 Paddington to Banbury Network SouthEast service. Not only are loco hauled Oxford commuter trains history, but so are coal trains traveling to the nearby Didcot Power Station (which closed in 2013). A rake of loaded HAAs can be seen behind the train, heading around Didcot's west curve.
